History


Javier Krasuk was borne in Buenos Aires Argentina the 25th of May, 1966).

At age 18 Javier Krasuk was awarded the International Silver medal of Architecture At The Bienal of Architecture BA/85  by Arch. Mario Botta, Arch. Richard Meier, Arch. Kisho Kurokawa and Arch, Cesar Pelli.

At age 21 Javier moved to Washington DC, USA where he completed his career with a Master of Arts and Sciences from Virginia Tech in 1992.
Javier's Thesis was based in Innovative Airports Concepts to flexibly accommodate the future needs of the Airline Industry. Javier was the first alumni to accomplish a Masters of Arts and sciences in 11 months..

Javier's thesis work was later exhibited at the National Building Museum and the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC.

Dec 1992 - Javier co-produced the Music album “Tide” expanding his roster of creativity and passion for the arts of expression.

Jan 1996 - Javier founded the Virginia Tech's Washington DC Off Campus Computer Graphics Department where he taught VR and Simulation.

In 1996 Javier Co-founded 9th Insight Inc with Maria Florencia San Martin and his former mentor from VT Arch. Dennis B. Jones.

As Senior-VP (1996-2001), President (2001-2003) and CEO (2003-2007) of 9th Insight, also known as “9th” (www.9th.com), Javier Krasuk has produced and directed some major communication and advertising campaigns for the Fortune 500 sector and Top Organizations such as Alcatel-Lucent, Discovery Channel, Microsoft, Mediaset, Panasonic, The World Bank Group, The International Finance Corporation and The International Monetary Fund among others.

Dec 2004 - Halo II Launch - Javier Krasuk and Florencia San Martin directed the 9th Team in cooperation with Tcom for the live staging, short film production and Online Social Networking in Milan and Rome of the Halo II Synchronized International Launch. The project composed of three different parallel productions was strategically planned by 9th and Tcom. In Jan 2005 “9th” becomes the Multimedia Strategic Partner of Alcatel (Alcatel-Lucent) and Javier Krasuk becomes the multimedia creative director of the 32nd Americas Cup for ALU.

June 2006 - 9th Insight gets awarded the Ueverest Portal project from Atlantic Films in UK. The project requires a system that could be updated by the fearless climbers while they conquer the summit in real time.

The online portal needed to cover all the challenges involved in the climbing in real time to allow the fans of the sport to experience a "being there chill " during the length of the expedition. The project was extremely successful and therefore followed by The New York Times, The Sun UK, Guardian Unlimited, The Independent, UK, BBC News Online and Reuters among others

In Feb. 2007 Javier co-produced and directed the 32nd Americas Cup virtual world in Second Life and the AmericasCupAnywhere portal by Alcatel Lucent that was featured by Reuters, the New York Times, and the International Herald Tribune among others.

In March 2008 Javier started his latest Album “Fearless”. The previous albums are "Tide" (1993) and "Vanity" (2003).
The album is to be released late 2009.

 

In June 2008 Javier leads the 9th Team in the launch of the ne ICCA portal (one of the most prestigious organizations leading the International Commercial Arbitration.
The launch was strategically planned to coincide with the Dublin 2008 ICCA Congress. The next one is schedule in Rio de Janeiro on 2010 an is already on the works.

 

 

In 2008 Javier Krasuk and Florencia San Martin (9th.com) lead the Design of the Video portal for Mediaset (video.mediaset.it), Live since Nov 20 2008 that attracts over 6.000.000 monthly visitors.
